Product Description

Product Description

A drilling stabilizer is a piece of downhole equipment used in the bottom hole assembly (BHA) of a drill string. It mechanically stabilizes the BHA in the borehole in order to avoid unintentional sidetracking, vibrations, and ensure the quality of the hole being drilled.

It is composed of a hollow cylindrical body and stabilizing blades, both made of high-strength steel. The blades can be either straight or spiralled, and are hardfaced for wear resistance

Integral mandrel sleeve stabilizers are made in two parts: One mandrel and one sleeve. The stabilizer is assembled by screwing the sleeve on the body and tightening these on the shoulder. The sleeve has been engineered to avoid any accidental unscrewing as to be easily replaced on rig.

Our Stabilizer adopts high quality chrome molybdenum alloy steel production (except non-magnetic),and is up to prospective hardness, strength, and shock resistance through special heat treatment technology. Stabilizer thread is made according to API, whose wearing belt adopts studded columnar tungsten carbide hard alloy or other wearing materials for the purpose of protecting the body.Non-magnetic stabilizer uses studded hard alloy after demagnetization..

Features
  1. Sizes and configurations can be manufactured to operator's requirements, including blade sizes, connections, and types of material.
  2. All stabilizer connections can be configured as box x box, as pin x box, or as the operator requires.
  3. Welded straight blade for drilling soft formations.
  4. Sleeve type allowing less equipment inventory in remote locations.
  5. Integral spiral blade allowing 360° hole contact for use in hard rock formations.
  6. Nonmagnetic stabilizers for applications requiring magnetic isolation.
