Product Description

    Oil seals are generally divided into monomer type and assembly type, and the assembly type is that the skeleton and lip material can be freely combined, and are generally used for special oil seals  .From the sealing function, characteristics, structure type, working state and sealing mechanism of the oil seal, it can be divided into a variety of forms and different names, but it is customary to call the rotary shaft lip seal ring oil seal, and the seal with static seal and dynamic seal (general reciprocating motion) is called seal.The representative form of the oil seal is TC oil seal, which is a double-lip oil seal with a self-tightening spring completely covered by rubber, and the oil seal is often referred to as this TC skeleton oil seal.
    The commonly used materials for oil seals are: nitrile rubber, fluorine rubber, silicone rubber, acrylic rubber, polyurethane, PTFE, etc.
Nitrile rubber (NBR)
It has good heat resistance, wear resistance, resistance to various lubricating oils, greases, oil-air mixtures, etc., applicable temperature -30~120 degrees Celsius, but can not be used in phosphate ester hydraulic oil and gear oil containing extreme pressure additives, in gasoline and low aniline point mineral oilMedium and stable performance. Polyacrylate rubber (ACM)
Superior oil resistance, heat resistance, wear resistance, ozone resistance, ultraviolet radiation resistance, especially lubricating oil, gear oil, motor oil, engine oil, petroleum-based hydraulic oil containing extreme pressure agent, etc., suitable for -30~150 degrees Celsius range of work.
Viton
Aging resistance, heat resistance, oil resistance, suitable for almost all lubricating oil, fuel oil, gasoline, not easy to harden in oil containing extreme pressure additives, but cold resistance, high temperature wear resistance is poor, permanent compression deformation is large, suitable for temperature -20 ~ 250 degrees Celsius.

Nitrile rubber and fluorine rubber materials are widely used oil seals, the former is low cost, but the temperature resistance and sealing have been significantly improved, but the cost is high, and still has some bad commonalities of ordinary rubber materials, such as poor wear resistance, short service life, particularly sensitive to the eccentric reaction of the shaft, etc., leakage is still relatively common. PTFE oil seal is a high-tech product, which is the direction of the future development of oil seal  .
When selecting the material of the oil seal, the compatibility of the material to the working medium, the adaptability to the operating temperature range, and the ability of the lip to follow the rotation shaft at high speed must be considered. Generally, the temperature of the lip of the oil seal is 20~50 °C higher than the temperature of the working medium, and attention should be paid to the selection of oil seal materials. The working range of the oil seal is related to the material used in the oil seal: -40~120 °C when the material is nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR), -30~180 °C when the material is Aggreko rubber (ACM), and -25~300 °C when the material is fluorine rubber (FPM).
