Choke manifolds
Choke manifolds are used for choking the drilling fluid which is returned from the well. Adjust the choke valve can change throttling degree. Increasing throttling, can make bottom pressure of the well higher than ground pressure, avoid ground liquid flowing into the well immoderately, carry out well-kill operation. Reducing throttling to non- throttling can realize soft closing of the well which can protect the wellhead.
Kill Manifolds
Kill manifolds are used to forcibly inject heavy drilling fluid, fresh water and fire extinguishing agent into the well to carry out well-kill operation, prevent well kick, blowout or fire, and fire suppression operation after fired. It can be open flowed through flow out pipeline directly to release bottom pressure of the well.
