I,Summary
JY type Casing Scraper is a kind of auxiliary means used for well completion, well logging and downhole operation, which mainly apply to cleaning cement, mud, embedded bullets, rust, mill scale, paraffin, perforation burrs and other substances from the inside walls of casing in order to keep the cleanness of inside wall of casing.
It can't be used in drilling operation.
JY type Casing Scraper is a new type scraper, which not only could used as general fixed patten Casing Scraper, but also a rotary type. By adding the numbers of spacer located at upper connection, it will tum from a rotary to fixed and by reducing the numbers of spacer, it will be a rotary type.
II,Structure & Principle
1 Structure
JY type Casing Scraper is consisting of an upper connection, spacer, dished slice, pressure spring, sleeve, body, O type circle etc. AS shown in the following figure.
2 Principles:
Before the casing scraper run into the down hole, the maximum fix size should be bigger than the ID of the casing. After going into the well, the blade press the spring and the spring provide the radial force. When scraper the adamant material, we should scrape several times to reach the size of the casing's ID. The scraper is joined to the lower end of the pipe; the vertical motion of the pipe is the axial inlet of the process of scraping. Whether the body of the scraper rotates or not, it doesn't matter, it can scrape when it through the casing. To check a perforated section for smoothness, run the scraper through the section without rotating. If the weight indicator does not show any irregularities the casing has been clean.
